Ideas for Charter Days & Events

Sailing days

All sailing events will start with a full safety briefing from the Skipper.

Team Building events

Enb' consultant's can be engaged to facilitate Team Building events onboard Fortis Excel followed by a debriefing by Agne over dinner or drinks.

Match Racing days

Friendly, simulated match racing Fortis Excel against another chartered Farr 45.

Boat Tours

For those not wishing to test their sea legs, tours of Fortis Excel may be more welcome!

Hospitality Events

A days sailing for clients or tours of the boat. Hospitality can range from champagne, canapés on board for a gentle cruise to a full-on race style day with cheese sandwiches!

Breakfast can be arranged on board or in a café prior to boarding.

Lunch can be served on shore or aboard with a range of styles from "silver service" & white table cloths to a hearty sandwich lunch.

Dinners & lunches can be arranged in one of the many restaurants in Cowes or Hamble.

Cabin cruiser & sailing event

In addition to chartering Fortis Excel, a cabin cruiser ("gin palace") option can be added at cost. Half the day can be spent sipping champaign and the other half race simulating! Starting on the cruiser, followed by yacht race simulating, back to the cruiser for a briefing in comfort and to watch Fortis Excel sailing whilst sipping a G & T.

Race Events

The race calendar is attached. Guests are welcome as spectators and to join the Skipper and crew members after races for celebratory drinks and to share in the days war stories.

Rib Charter

The Fortis Excel Rib is available for charter including life jackets and water proofs for fun days out. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged as appropriate.

The rib is available for the 2007 Round the Island race (23rd June) and provides a great opportunity to observe photograph and be part of this spectacular event. Fortis Excel will be racing in this event which is one of the world's largest and most famous yachting races. The race takes place in Cowes and attracts an annual entry of 1700 boats. The Rib can provide a fast fun trip around the needles or a leasurley trip to Beaulieu.

Skipper Charter

Agne is happy to be "Chartered"(!) to talk to clients or colleagues at the Bank or at off site events & dinners about events, experiences including the Fastnet campaign, world's longest race can be the most boring…..etc, etc. from a technical &/or team dinamics perspective.

Team building events/speaches built around a sailing theme.

Parties

Fortis Excel can be used as the venue for Fortis Bank internal / external events. Hospitality can be arranged and Fortis presentations could be coupled with tours of the boat.

Spectators

Spectators are always welcome and the Fortis Excel Rib can be chartered on race days and non race days alike.

Prize Giving Events

A boat tour can be organised to complement prize giving events.
